EVA
Educational Virtual Assistant
EVA is your Educational Virtual Assistant
EVA is a course-specific AI Teaching Assistant designed to extend faculty support while preserving academic control, institutional ownership, and IT governance. Built only on professor-validated course materials, EVA gives learners real-time, multilingual support across interfaces, while providing professors and IT teams with the dashboards needed to monitor learning, quality, usage, and operations.
A Real-Time Teaching Assistant for Every Course
EVA is a real-time, voice-enabled AI teaching assistant deployed per course, per semester. She is not a replacement for the professor: she is the digital twin of a teaching assistant, trained exclusively on the faculty-validated materials of a specific course — syllabus, readings, lecture recordings, transcripts, and assessments. Learners can talk with EVA at any moment, on any day, in their own language, to review a concept, prepare an assessment, deep-dive a chapter, or test their knowledge against the course’s learning objectives. EVA is multilingual: the course content stays the professor’s, while the conversation adapts to the learner. EVA is live today, in pilot deployments with universities in the Middle East and Asia.
Grounded, Governed, and Institution-Owned AI
EVA answers only from the course knowledge base.
She never searches the internet, cites the sources behind every answer, and openly acknowledges when a question falls outside her scope — directing the learner back to the professor.
All content remains the intellectual property of the institution, hosted on GDPR-compliant infrastructure in the EU, on-premise, or in-country to meet national regulations, with sovereign AI options available.
Teaching Insights Between Classes
For faculty, a Professor Dashboard (Teaching Insights) reveals what students actually struggle with: most-asked questions, most challenging topics, engagement trends.
EVA gives the professor back visibility on the learning happening between classes — and gives the institution scalable, consistent learner support without adding headcount.
IT Operations Center: Enterprise-Grade Visibility and Control
For the university’s IT team, the IT Dashboard (EVA Operations Center) provides full technical and operational supervision of the platform.
It covers four areas:
- interfaces and activity (sessions, conversational turns, latency, and recent records across the phone, mobile, web chat, tutor, and campus interfaces);
- knowledge base health (confirming EVA is grounded in the right sources, spotting weak retrievals, no-hit records, and missing source metadata);
- users, courses and calendars (assigned and active users, login sessions, password-change flags, teaching-week boundaries); and
- operations (CPU, RAM, disk, API usage, error records, and security and backend-health signals).
The IT department keeps the same visibility and control it expects from any enterprise system — no black box.
